COVID-19
DO ONLY GOOD – BECAUSE WE SHOULD

To Our Pet Parents,
When we rang in 2020 a few short months, little did we realize how our nation and world would be turned upside down due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It has forced us to rethink our priorities and appreciate our neighbors and families more than ever before. And in the spirit of humanity, help each other out wherever we can.
We at Do Only Good (D.O.G.) Pet Food are keenly aware that our pet parents need our assistance during this crisis. The best way for us to do that, is to keep providing their dog’s with optimal nutrition, while offering our products at a 20% discounted rate.
No one knows how long this pandemic will last, but what we do know is we need to offer compassion and support throughout its duration. At D.O.G., our company name means more than providing for your dog’s health and protecting the planet; it means we must Do Only Good – because we should!
From all of us at D.O.G., please stay safe, live healthy, and remain hopeful.
Your friends,

Here at Do Only Good Certified, we pride ourselves in our ability to bring healthy, nutritious, and delicious food to your pets’ bowls. As of result, amid the ever-growing and changing crisis surrounding COVID-19, we wanted to bring to your attention some updates from the CDC, WHO, and FDA as it pertains to us, and therefore you and your beloved pets(1).

First and foremost, we want to remind you of the importance of washing your hands and/or sanitizing your hands regularly(2). Avoid touching your face and cough and/or sneeze into a tissue or your elbow. These are critical steps ensuring your own and your communities’ safety.
Secondly, we are all amidst a recommended “social distancing” procedure as recommended by The White House. But the bright side (we try to find them whenever possible) is that this is the perfect time to hunker down with your pet and bond with them! We are currently offering free shipping to our customers, so treat your pet with one of our pumpkin products (great for cats and dogs) or refill your supply of one of our tasty our kibble products.
Finally, and most importantly, we wanted to reassure our customers that, according to both the CDC and the FDA, there is indication that transmission of the virus is linked to food or its packaging.
“Currently there is no evidence of food or food packaging being associated with transmission of COVID-19.”
“It may be possible that a person can get COVID-19 by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it and then touching their own mouth, nose, or possibly their eyes, but this is not thought to be the main way the virus spreads.”
Furthermore, we recently came across an article which discusses the transmission between humans and pets and whether or not a link exists. Because this is a rapidly shifting virus and the understanding of it is constantly evolving, it is hard to say with certainty any particular detail. However, Dr. Michale Lappin of WSAVA One Health Committee says “the world opinion right now is there is no evidence that pets can transmit COVID-19 to people.”(3)
As always, we are committed to the health and wellbeing of our four-legged friends, so we will update this page as needed as more information becomes available.
